Shipping to Aland Islands (Ahvenanmaa)

Hello!

When you ship mobile phones or televisions to Aland Islands, can you send it with VAT 0%?

Otherwise I have to pay 24% VAT on the price where the vat is already included to tue Aland Island laws (we have no vat nr).

Question goes for both private and company shopping.

Hi @BenDaniels! We will add a tax number to our shipments to Åland, so it will be delivered directly to the customer. More information on Posti website :)

Is this still the case? I made an order where VAT was included, and now Åland customs need me to pay VAT here to release the package.

I asked about this matter from our specialist and we will get back to this as soon as possible after we have received the answer.

I think that we might have a bug in our ordering systems because double VAT should not come.  Could You please contact to our Customer Service because we need Your customer informations to look more closely this case?

Hi, my issue has been resolved, my apologies for forgetting to update this thread about it. What had happened was that the sender had been registered as F9 Distribution Oy (which you apparently partner with) and not Telia. I just had to show my Telia order confirmation to the post offce, then they released the package with no customs clearance needed.
