Port forwardings shouldn’t affect connectivity in any way, probably unless you forward ports needed by router like dhcp client’s 68.

After you manage to get connection working, make sure that you aren’t behind Telia’s nat, which gives you “private” IPv4 address, which isn’t directly reachable from internet. These addresses usually start with 10... or in case of carrier grade nat’s dedicated address space: 100.64-127….. So connection works with default APN “internet”, but issues arrive when APN is changed to opengate ? Have you already subscribed to Telia Yhteyspiste service?
