we tried to replace the old cable card yesterday with the new one we got from mail. we unplugged the digibox and tv then restored factory settings. 86 tv channels and 3 radio frequencies are found during the scan but we can't view our current cable package. everytime sonera is having an update on the system we lost our channels. it was advertised that from june 3 to 9, all the pay channels will be available free of chanrge but we can't enjoy this offer.

Hi, you need cable ready digibox to run that new card.
Check if your digibox is on compatibility list : www.kaapelitelevisio.fi
You may also try to update digibox firmware, this worked for me!!!!!!

Nosse's instruction is very good, but you could also
1. Check that the Cable Card is placed correctly
2. Restore once again factory settings of your set-top box.
If your set-top box has Cable Ready HD -label, you need to contact Sonera customer care that they can link your set-top box and the Cable Card.
