unlocked iphone configuration problem

Hi,
I used sonera's contracted iPhone 4s's sim card to configure new unlocked iPhone 4s. Everything went fine and got activated.

Now when i changed new sim card for the new phone, it always displays "no service".

Is it possible that the new iPhone is locked now (because of the carrier data configuration from old sim) even if it is factory unlocked?

    Thanks for the reply.
    I contacted the operator and found out that, they had made some kind of mistake for activating the new sim. I will wait that they make the new sim active in their network and check again. If problem exists still, i will post it here again.

    The general question i am confused would still be 'does the factory unlocked iphone gets locked if you used contracted sim card of sonera to configure it?'

    Hello Lynusnp,

    Once Iphone has been unlocked it won’t be locked again.
