Hi there Sonera,
I am looking for an operator in Finland and Sonera long seemed like a good choice. However, the recent report on Sonera's 74,3% owned business Geocell in Georgia got me confused. The ethics of sharing any private data is completely beyond me and all sane philosophers I know. Trust is key here. I would like an operator I can trust handles private data most seriously and works for policies that keeps the data private.
Is this recent Georgia debacle something I should be aware of, that by signing with Sonera, my data will gladly be shared to whatever and whoever by Sonera? If not, why are Sonera engaged in such operation and why should I trust Sonera don't operate likewise in Finland?
If this is part of the company culture, I would like to know exactly how Sonera analyzes private data and to whom and when it shares the data in question, before I am able or unable to sign a subscription in Finland.
Best regards,
a potential and concerned customer
