Is it possible you could have bought a stolen phone?
I don't know. I think the supplier bought cheap iPhones under a Telia contract and sold them to me as free to work with any operator. I was deceived. I don't know if it's stolen or not 100%
10 years ago I knew how to buy phones in Ukrainian stores. But in the current unstable conditions, many stores began to brazenly lie to their customers, confuse information, and sell supposedly Unlock gadgets that actually works only with one operator like Telia. I was sad to realize that I was deceived by a store with a reputation, after clarifying info about work with local Ukrainian operator before buying by call.
They ask to send me the phone to another city, for return or exchange, but do not give any guarantees. They can deceive me again and not return the money. I will have to contact the police and sue them.
I would like to resolve the issue in a simpler way, by removing the blocking of the Telia operator, and leave them a negative review of my Ukrainian store
I would say that the phone is 100% stolen. If it was operator locked, then it would just not get service with other operators, but still work otherwise. At least in Finland operators don’t sell phones any cheaper to their customers, but rather give 3 years of interest free paying time and they haven’t been locked in ages. No idea if it’s the same in Sweden, but my bet is that it would still be blocked even if you got a Telia sim card.
The picture even clearly says “Lost phone” so someone has reported it lost/stolen.
In Sweden you can buy new phone good price with subscription and you will have e.g. 24 months agreement. I think that this phone works only with Telia Sweden sim-card, not e.g. Telia Finland card because it is locked. The phone may be stolen or not but I believe that only Telia Sweden can remove lock. Try to get your money back.
Can Telia operator unlock my phone for money?
Because returning it back to the store and proving my case in the current conditions of Ukraine is not pleasant. I am not interested in suing the owner of the store if it is stolen, I wish the seller all the worst and that he or his phone supplier loses business
Are there any admins on the forum who can help me? Or give me the email address of the Telia operator in Sweden so I can write to them. I already wrote to teliainfo@telia.se but have not received a response yet
@Arseniy-K good you found us in this unusual situation. I can see from the pictures above that, in addition that it seems the phone has been reported lost, it is somehow related to Telia Sweden (Telia Sverige AB).
Operator-locked devices are very rare nowadays. We don't sell such devices to our customers here in Finland, which means for example iPhones can be used with any European SIM card.
Maybe the wisest way to try to solve the situation is to directly contact Telia Sweden's customer service. The easiest approach for you could be through a social media channel, such as X, Instagram or Facebook.

I just had a look at the Telia Sweden contact information on their web pages, and this email is for general questions about Telia as a company. Therefore I think the answer via this email might take time. I hope the links I gave in my previous answer helps you further.
I wrote to X, they told me that they can't help me and I should call the hotline 90 200.
I have poor spoken English, so I asked the person to call for me, he spent 4 dollars waiting in line, but he couldn't wait any longer and disconnected the call. My problem was not solved
Maybe there is someone on the forum who has cheap calls in Sweden, and who can wait in line and ask to unlock my phone and explain my situation? On X com, they told me to call them and give the IMEI code.
I can pay $ 10 via SEPA transfer, if you give me the operator's answer.
I have a photo of the box, and a receipt from a Ukrainian store, I can send it to your email, if someone agree
I also have a telegram and whatsapp

When calling from outside of Sweden, Telia Sweden’s customer service phone number is +46 771 99 02 00.
I don’t know much about how subsidised phone sales work in Sweden. But if this would have been a Finnish subsidised handset, operators required that the person who signed the contract to request unlocking. They did’t not respond to anonymous unlocking request, not even after the contract term was over.
Luckily, handset subsidies were illegal in Finland during 1990’s. And when they were made legal in the dawn of the 3G boom, operators quickly realised that locking and unlocking phones makes more trouble than it is worth of. Thus, you have not seen new locked phones being sold for a couple of years now in Finland.
Also, like @elo420 already noted, I don’t think your phone has operator locking. The photos look more like corporate asset management. Was the phone you got meant for Telia Sweden employees only?
Maybe you should contact the maker of the asset management system as well, Miradore.
The whole point of locking a lost or stolen phone is to prevent it from being used by the thief or whoever it gets sold to. The point of contacting customer support about a lost phone is to return it to the rightful owner. It’s not ever meant to be a way to unlock stolen phones so all of this work is probably for nothing.
Even if it was just locked to Telia Sweden, why would they allow it to be freely unlocked by anyone anywhere in the world? That completely defeats the point of operator locking.

You might be right. I have also Iphone what is company phone and I have also company profile. I do not remember if I had “Enrol this Iphone” button but the phone is managed by the company. In my previous company Iphones same profile were created but these phones were not company phones and after reset they were normal Iphones. But the current phone is company phone and my company is maintaining it even after reset.
Next question is that why company phones are sold in public markets…

Who is doing the selling? It’s not Telia or the company owning the phone, but rather some shady reseller buying stolen phones from criminal gangs. Like you said, you bought from an “unofficial Apple store” so they are very likely to be either pirated fakes or stolen. You can avoid this by only buying from official stores and resellers, which of course can be near impossible in the current situation there.

Well, without knowing the full history of this phone, it is impossible to say.
It may be stolen. It could be a rogue Telia employee trying to make money by selling tools he got from his employer.
But is may just as well be surplus or expired lease returned to the leasing company. Someone just forgot to reset the asset management application before returning the phone.
Just like this secondhand Microsoft Surface was:
Luckily at the end he got hold of someone at Mastercard and the asset tracking block was removed.
Miradore is indeed a management system for leased devices. Many companies are using it for corporate devices. Maybe someone who worked for Telia SE got his phone stolen, or got laid off, and decided to sell the phone to black market instead of returning it to the company ICT Services. Maybe you should try to get your money back from the unoffical retailer.
In the past, I developed systems for startups for remote control of Windows and smartphones. Little came of it in Ukraine. I did not think that I would become a victim of such a scam. Before buying, I asked about working with local operators, I was told that it has a SIM slot for this. Without the Internet, I can call from it, even from a local operator. But as soon as the Internet appears and the initial setup continues, the phone is blocked by Telia
It seems that phone has been Telia Company Sweden worker phone and it has been stolen. Phone has locked after that. Only original owner of the phone can cancel the locking if his/her phone is found. I’m so sorry for my part about this scam. Unfortunately, you are not the only one who has fallen victim to a similar scam.
I called the Telia SE company. They asked me to come to the branch with my passport. But I am a resident of Ukraine, I can't do this. It is hardly feasible at the moment, and too expensive.
The Telia manager didn't even ask for the IMEI code to check for theft. The phone was brand new with seals and a protective package.
This is an MDM profile that is installed when connecting to the Internet and it is impossible to delete it manually. I think the IMEI of this phone is listed in the Apple system as belonging to a Telia employee. Could there be a mistake in this? Maybe someone mixed up the numbers and I became a victim of a bug in logistics or data entry in the Apple systems?
Does the store offer any kind of warranty? The phone they sold is clearly not working so they should be the ones giving you a new one. If that’s locked as well or you find someone else who bought a similar one then you could be more sure about it being actually stolen. It could be an error somewhere, but it could also be Sweden’s notorious drug gangs stealing stuff by the truck/container so the phones could have been on their way to Telia from Apple when it happened.
They deceived me once, I asked about the possibility of working in Ukraine. They said that the phone was free or something like that.
But they sent by mail what I show. I did not check the phone at the post office. I hoped for reviews about the store.
Now they ask me to return it, and do not say any terms and guarantees. They can deceive me again, and I will be left without a phone and money at all. Since there is no desire to declare and conduct an investigation in a corrupt environment. I have been deceived for 30 years in Ukraine.
I am thinking about selling on the secondary market in the current situation. Some Ukrainians live in Europe, maybe someone will respond
If you used a credit card or some similar payment method, you might be able to file a dispute to the card/payment operator.
Otherwise, it looks like you cannot do much about it. Generally, it’s not a good idea to buy stuff seriously “underpriced” or if an offer seems to be a too good to be true.
